Gruul Ponza just got a new toy in Magmatic Hellkite. Alongside Obsidian Charmaw, we now have two finishers attached to land destruction. Throw in a whole bunch of land destruction spells and we have a hateful, hateful deck looking to prey on Eldrazi, Amulet Titan, Tron, and more!

I've been testing the mythic Dragons from Tarkir: Dragonstorm and this month I'm going to highlight Shiko, Paragon of the Way. I'll also be trying out some of the new cards in Pioneer. Meanwhile, I've enjoyed playing a hateful land destruction deck that's well-positioned in today's Modern that I'll show y'all!

Tarkir: Dragonstorm gives my Mono Red Dragons deck in Modern several new toys. Sarkhan, Dragon Ascendant slots in nicely as a Treasure producer to compliment Magda, Hoardmaster, while Magmatic Hellkite fills out our curve with a threat that punishes Eldrazi and greedy mana bases alike!

Tarkir: Dragonstorm releases this month and I'm excited to test out a bunch of brews with all these new Dragon cards! First up: Mono Red Dragons with Sarkhan, Dragon Ascendant. In Commander, I'm highlighting my Tamiyo, Inquisitive Student deck that looks to bend the color pie and go aggro with Clues turned into creatures!
