Halloween has come and gone, which means Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner! And with the Holiday season come far more days off from school for my kids than normal. What that means for my upcoming schedule is that I’m going to err on the side of fewer articles to ensure I have the time I need to brew, test, and write.
Before I get to the schedule, check out this video I made of my Halloween decorations!
Schedule
November 8th – The Podkind, Chapters 25 and 26 – Charleston and his friends continue their training. Savannah struggles in her new role, while Arizona returns…though not quite the same.
November 15th – Commander – Mono Green Triple Keywords with Questing Beast
November 22nd – Keeping Modern Janky – TBD, but I’m choosing between a Boros Blasphemous Act deck, an updated Amulet Dinos deck, and a different Lukka Surprise build.
November 29th – Off – Thanksgiving Week
With this abbreviated schedule, I’m hoping to find time to test out a variety of decks in both Modern and Pioneer. Be on the lookout for videos of gameplay on my YouTube channel. And, if I can swing it, I’ll post an article the final week of November.
The Usual Blurb
My goal is to publish an article between Wednesday and Friday every week. I am a stay-at-home dad of three with a part-time job, though, so there may be weeks that life gets in the way. I’ll rotate the topics each week in the following order: Modern-Commander-Pioneer-Fiction. Whenever possible, I’ll publish articles and videos when they’re ready. Now that I am making videos, I hope to upload gameplay of each of the Modern decks I’ve already written about, as well as new ones I’m testing. For these reasons, there will be weeks when more than one article and/or video gets posted. Published articles are pretty time-intensive, hence the once-a-week-schedule, but the matches I play along the way will get posted to my YouTube channel as I go. Be sure to check there if you’re looking for a match but it isn’t yet on the site.
